I gave a girl i like a vallentines day present and now she is ignoring me, why?

if you answered my other question about this girl please don't be all like "i told u so!". i gave her a card, flower and a box of chocolates however at the last minute i got scarred so i put them outside her door, pressed the doorbell and ran. i ran behind a bush and then ram away. when i got home my sis said she had called and said that she seen me. later on she came over but she didn't say anything, i even said hi but she just ignored me. i feel really stupid now and all my friends are laughing at me. they said just go over there and ask her at her house to go out with you. what should i do? i don't wanna ruin our small friendship.
