Does this have anything to do with me or what i said?

okay so i saw my ex with this girl i really dont like, and they were holding hands. so i figured they were dating again and id just have to deal with it. So after i tlked to him about it, and told him how i was feeling he told me he was sorry that i felt that way, but also said thanks for being here for him. so for valentines day, i gave him a card that i wrote telling him how i felt and everything, but i also told him that i hope he enjoys the time he has left with her. since he is moving sometime soon. and so this morning i found out he broke up with her yesterday. so now im wondering if him breaking up with her had anything to do with me or what i said to him over text? cus from what his best friend/ my best guy friend told me the night before last, he really liked her...so what do you think is happening here???
