PS3 to PC screen image streaming?

What I want to do is have my PS3 in my basement and one way or another, stream the image two floors up to a laptop, where I would be sitting with my DualShock. I should mention now that I don't have a capture card, and image quality isn't a big deal to me as long as the framerate doesn't drop dramatically. I'm open to more or less any suggestions. My idea is to (a little primative, I know) set up a camcorder with ANOTHER laptop in my basement then stream that camcorder feed to the second laptop (over the network if possible as well, I have a bandwidth cap). Ideas on how to do that or any other way would be greatly appreciated.
