Driving license dilemma?

I sent off for my license to be renewed after holding it for 10 years. I haven't received it back yet but i have my motorbike theory tomorrow morning and it asks that i bring both parts of my license. I do have a cover note stating that my license has been sent for renewal, will that be and my passport be enough evidence?
