I am thinking of buying a custom built laptop from pcspecialist.com and I'm wondering if this is a good deal?

From my own experience laptops are always a let down, fine and dandy for applications and playing DVD or surfing the net but not for gaming. 2 years later you have an outdated glorified dvd player. The spec on the lap top you want is good very good but worth nearly 850 quid? i don't know. You have to ask yourself what do you want it for, do you need 500 GB of hard drive on a lap top. And heres the truth most lap tops die nearly to the day after the warranty expires. Usually the screen goes first, as far as i care lap tops and computers have no re-sale value. We have a crappy toshiba equim, biggest waste of 900 quid that my wife ever spent. Where as my own gaming rig that i built myself top spec at the time 3 years ago i wouldn't sell it for 1000 quid even though it's worth about 100 now. Never so much as a blue screen of death, boots up first time always. Lap tops no matter what the spec is are never that relaiable.
